Each year during the months of December, January, and February our educators travel (event must be within 150 miles of the Quad Cities – IA/IL) and help educate the public about LL&W and how they can become a steward of the river. General Public Speaking

Living Lands & Water’s Educational Facilitator Mike Coyne-Logan will bring his presentation right to your location! With a focus on waste reduction, Mike will share the history of the organization and the story of founder Chad Pregracke! He will cover information about what it’s like to clean up garbage on the river, live on a barge for most of the year, and show examples of bizarre items that we’ve found on the river.

For Junior High/High School Students
