Cleaning rivers' 'bathtub ring'
Local and national environmentalists, as well as city and federal officials gathered at Hains Point to begin the second annual Capital River Relief effort. Dozens of volunteers will work two shifts almost daily, cleaning trash on and beside the capital-area's rivers. The effort culminates on Earth Day, April 22.
