Environ volunteers in Capital River Relief project

ENVIRON will participate in the 2005 Capital River Relief “Team Up to Clean Up” project, an effort to clean up the Potomac and Anacostia watersheds. In addition to being a corporate sponsor, employees in ENVIRON’s Arlington, VA, office will volunteer to assist in this effort.

The Capital River Relief project is scheduled for April 1st - 16th and involves numerous organizations, volunteers groups and individuals from the area. The cleanup is a privately funded, all-volunteer coalition pairing the barge-based capabilities of Living Lands and Waters, a Midwest-based river cleanup group, and local organizations, led by the Alice Ferguson Foundation and the Anacostia Watershed Society.
